Dr. Howard, opened his Major Sports Medicine Practice in early 2004 and has since continued to serve the Shelbyville community as team physician to Shelby county high schools. He has participated as an ad hoc member of the State Medical Associate Commission on Sports Medicine, as a past president of the Shelby County Board of Health and serves as Medical Director of SportWorks.

Ruthie’s been Dr. Howard’s Clinical Coordinator since 2004. Previously she worked many years in Major Hospital’s ER, and some in Major’s Hospice Care since 1983. You’ll also see her volunteering at the Free Clinic.
On the personal side, she’s married with 2 kids, has two grandchildren and is a master gardener.

Amber is Major Sports Medicine’s Office Manager and team leader. She’s been with Major Health Partners since 2007. She resides in Shelby County.
